The final home softball series takes place this week, along with a home baseball series, the track teams go to separate meets and next Monday through Wednesday, both golf teams will compete for a CCAA Championship in Santa Barbara.

The Pioneers lead the CCAA regular season standings and don't need a lot to clinch a berth in the CCAA Tournament, which could be achieve as early as Friday. Saturday will mark the final home doubleheader on Senior Day as Ysabella Cortez, Annelise Garcia, Gabriela Rivera, Ashlee Toy and Alexa Zumstein will be recognized prior to game one of the doubleheader.

The Pioneers wrapped up the regular season on Tuesday with a fourth place finish at the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational. They are still ranked No. 1 in the NCAA Division II West Region poll as of Tuesday. Last season, the Pioneers placed fourth in the CCAA Championships.

The Pioneers wrapped up the regular season April 5, when Torrie Bowman won the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Arizona and would be named FloCollege/CCAA Women's Golfer of the Week days later. East Bay is ranked No. 10 in the NCAA Division II West Region poll as of Tuesday heading into the championship tournament. Last year, as part of the Pioneers' run toward the 2024 NCAA Women's Golf Championships, they placed fifth in team scoring.

- Pioneers Unable to Hold Off SF State Comeback in Series OpenerSAN FRANCISCO — Cal State East Bay jumped to a four-run lead but (RV) San Francisco State rallied late and walked off with a win, 5-4, in the 10th inning Friday at Maloney Field, handing the Pioneers their sixth straight defeat in a CCAA series opener. A wild pitch allowed the winning run to score for the Gators.
