Mika Sayfurahman and Oscar Blomqvist Earn CCAA Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award
HAYWARD, Calif. — Cal State East Bay student-athletes Mika Sayfurahman of the women's soccer team and Oscar Blomqvist of the men's golf team have been selected as the university's recipients of the 2025-26 Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award, the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) announced.

Groshart and Hendricks Finish 1-Under; Blomqvist Records Eagle During NCAA Championship’s Third Round
BOULDER CREEK, Nev. – Cooper Groshart and Peyton Hendricks led all Pioneers with matching 1-under overall scores through 54 holes, and Oscar Blomqvist posted an eagle on the par-5 579-yard 13th hole during the third day of competition at the NCAA Division II Championship at Boulder Creek Golf Club — Desert Hawk Coyote Run in Boulder Creek, Nevada.
Hendricks Earns PING All-West Region Honors
NORMAN, Okla. – Cal State East Bay men's golfer Peyton Hendricks earned 2026 NCAA Division II PING All-West Region honors, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced this week.
Hendricks Among Top 15 Entering Wednesday’s Third Round
BOULDER CREEK, Nev. – By shooting 2-under on the front and back nine during Tuesday's second round at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championship at Boulder Creek Golf Club — Desert Hawk Coyote Run in Boulder Creek, Nevada, Peyton Hendricks is 3-under overall through 36 holes and holds a top-15 score entering Wednesday's third round.
