Eldredge and Smith Named All-CCAA Honorable Mention
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - The 2024-25 All-CCAA Women's Basketball Season Awards were announced on Tuesday afternoon. From Cal State East Bay, two Pioneers were named All-CCAA Honorable Mention - Taylor Eldredge and Ariyah Smith.
Taylor Eldredge - Jr. - G - Kihei, HawaiiIn her first season with the Pioneers, Eldredge led the Pioneers in scoring, averaging 11.1 points-per-game. Her field goal percentage was .401 as she made a total of 101 field goals. In her first home game inside Pioneer Gymnasium, Eldredge scored a season-high 21 points. Her season-high of 13 rebounds was on two occasions - January 11 vs. Stanislaus State and January 18 at Cal State LA. Defensively, she had 59 steals.
Ariyah Smith - Fr. - G - Fresno, Calif.Smith averaged 9.3 points-per-game and made 24 3-pointers in 2024-25. Her 99 assists was a team-high as was her 64 steals. On January 2, she scored a season-high 23 points against Cal State San Marcos. In two separate games, she had six steals.
