San Francisco State struck first in the bottom of the second, capitalizing on a pair of singles and a wild pitch that allowed Marissa Jordan to cross home plate. But East Bay answered in the fourth. Marissa Quintero tossed a complete-game four-hitter to lead Cal State East Bay in the opener, striking out two and navigating early threats to pick up her 13th win of the season. In the effort, Quintero retired nine of the last 11 batters to secure the win.
Game Two: SF State 1, Cal State East Bay 0In a swift, 1-hour and 31-minute contest, East Bay found itself on the wrong end of a pitchers' duel.
