Cal State East Bay head coach Alan Sue following the Pioneers' third straight tournament win:
"I'm proud of the whole team. They just, they played great, they grinded. Today we didn't have our A game physically, but we really brought it mentally. We grinded hard and you know, we were able to hold off Monterey Bay."

Pioneer golf coach Chris Oetinger added:
"As a team, we learned a lot about ourselves today. We didn't have our best stuff but when it mattered most the men clutched up and finished strong."

Winning the individual medal was Jack Hayden from Santa Clara, who was entered into the field as an individual, with a final score of 211 (-5).

The Pioneers will look for a fourth tournament win in a row next Monday and Tuesday in Hawaii for the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate, taking place at Mauna Lani Golf Course in Waimea, Hawaii. It will be the first of back-to-back tournaments in Hawaii to finish out the 2024 fall season.
