Bell and Tanner Receive All-CCAA Honors

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The CCAA announced the all-conference baseball teams on Tuesday for 2024. Outfielder Brenden Bell was named All-CCAA Honorable Mention and pitcher Gabe Tanner made the conference's First Team.
 

Brenden Bell – Jr. – OF - Brentwood/Biola University

Bell was named an All-CCAA honorable mention. He was second on the Pioneers in batting average (.323) and had 53 hits, nine doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 31 RBIs. In the first game of a doubleheader on March 28, he went 4-for-5 with a home run and a double with three runs scored and two RBIs. Defensively, he had a .971 fielding percentage.

Gabe Tanner – Jr. – P – Danville/Chabot College

Tanner made the All-CCAA First Team for the first time in his career. He had a 9-4 record in 13 appearances on the mound. He had a 3.56 ERA in 93.2 innings pitched and allowed 43 runs (37 earned), walked 20 and struck out 67. He led the CCAA in games started (13) and wins (9), was second in strikeouts (67). A complete game win at Cal Poly Pomona on March 8 earned him CCAA Pitcher of the Week honors.
