FINAL RECAP: Cal State East Bay Women’s Swimming Wraps Up NCAA Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – Cal State East Bay women's swimming competed in three events at SPIRE Institute Aquatics Center on Saturday, which was the final day of the 2024 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships. After five days of action, the Pioneers placed 23rd among the 40 teams in the meet.
 

  • In the prelims, Kylie Beaudet qualified for the consolation finals in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of two minutes, 17.97 seconds. In the finals, she placed 12th overall nationally in the meet, and is expected to be named a CSCAA All-American for the event.
  • The relay team of Brooklyn Dressel, Delaney Carlson, Olivia Parham and Tehani Kong competed in the finals of the 400 yard freestyle relay and placed 10th with a time of 3:24.47.  
  • Dressel competed in the prelims of the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 51.15 seconds.
  • Kong swam the 100 yard freestyle in 52.52 seconds in the prelims.

 
The 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Swimming and Diving Championship went to Nova Southeastern.
