DAY ONE RECAP: Pioneer Women’s Golf at CCAA Championships

SANTA ROSA, Calif. – After 18 holes played Monday at Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club, Cal State East Bay women's golf sits in fifth place among six teams competing for in the 2024 CCAA Championships.

  • The lowest score among the five Pioneers entered was from Julika Grosspietsch, sitting at 4-over-par 76, currently tied for ninth on the leaderboard. She finished the day with a birdie on the 18th hole.
  • Alma Garcia had two birdies, and at 7-over-par 79, sits in a 19th place tie on the leaderboard.
  • Carlota Eroles also had two birdies on Monday among the Pioneers.

Through one round, Cal State San Marcos leads the team scoring and Regan Barton from CSUSM sits atop the leaderboard at 2-under-par 70.
 
On Tuesday, the second round of the 2024 CCAA Championships tees off at 10 a.m. from Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club.
