DAY TWO RECAP: Pioneer Women’s Golf Sits in Fourth After Two Rounds at CCAA Championships

SANTA ROSA, Calif. – The second day of the 2024 CCAA Championships presented by Under Armour took place Tuesday at Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club. A 15 stroke improvement as a team helped Cal State East Bay women's golf climb into fourth place after 36 holes of action.

  • Working her way up the leaderboard on Tuesday was Julika Grosspietsch, who carded a 70 in the second round and is currently tied for second at 2-over-par 146. She has four birdies of the 36 holes played, three of which were on Tuesday.
  • Alma Garcia has the second lowest score among the Pioneers at 13-over-par 157 as she is tied for 16th on the leaderboard.
  • With two birdies each on Tuesday were Jasmin Krishna and Mandi Granato.

Through two rounds, Cal State San Marcos leads the team competition and with three golfers in the top-5 on the leaderboard, led by Regan Barton with a current score of 5-under-par 139.
 
The final round of the CCAA Championships is set for 8 a.m. on Wednesday from Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club.
