TURLOCK, Calif. — Cal State East Bay started strong and earned a four-set victory over third-seeded Cal State LA (25-18, 22-25, 25-17, 25-19) Thursday afternoon at Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena in the opening round of the 2025 CCAA Volleyball Tournament presented by Under Armour. The sixth-seeded Pioneers' balanced attack and poise carried them into Friday's semifinals.

TURLOCK, Calif. - Prior to the 2025 CCAA Volleyball Tournament presented by Under Armour, an honor that only one CCAA volleyball player receives each year was bestowed upon a member of Cal State East Bay's squad. Rebeca Freitas was named the 2025 recipient of the Elite 13 award for the CCAA.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - With the CCAA Tournament presented by Under Armour starting this week, the 2025 All-CCAA Volleyball honors were announced on Tuesday. From Cal State East Bay, four Pioneers received accolades, led by the CCAA Libero of the Year, Kale'a Kuamo'o. Kuamo'o and Barakat Adekola were named All-CCAA First Team, Fane Paua was named to the All-CCAA Second Team and with Honorable Mention was Pi'ilani Carvalho.

ARCATA, Calif. – Cal State East Bay volleyball closed out the 2025 regular season with a tough five-set loss to Cal Poly Humboldt, 25–17, 16–25, 10–25, 25–21, 17–15. The loss ends East Bay's regular season at 13–13 overall and 10–8 in CCAA play, while giving them the No. 6 seed in next week's CCAA Tournament.
