Thursday's Matchup Too Much for Pioneers vs. CSULA
HAYWARD, Calif. — Playing at home Thursday evening at Pioneer Gymnasium, Cal State East Bay came up against a sharp-shooting and strong defensive Cal State LA squad and fell 101-57 in CCAA action. An early surge by the Golden Eagles, fueled by turnovers, set the tone, and despite stretches of poised offense from the Pioneers, the visitors maintained control throughout.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Behind a composed road performance and a late surge at the free throw line, the Cal State East Bay women's basketball team earned a 76-71 victory over Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday afternoon at Coussoulis Arena. The Pioneers weathered multiple momentum swings, built key runs in each half and closed out the game at the line to secure a crucial CCAA win.
