Streak to 20 Straight Wins for No. 3 Pioneers After Surviving Saturday Battle at CSUSB
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — On Saturday afternoon inside Coussoulis Arena, No. 3 Cal State East Bay kept its perfect season intact with an 82-79 road win over Cal State San Bernardino, extending its winning streak to 20 games and remaining one of two unbeaten teams in Division II.
Pioneers Dominate From Start to Finish to Reach 19-0
POMONA, Calif. — On a Thursday evening at Kellogg Arena, No. 3 Cal State East Bay clamped down from the start and ran away from Cal Poly Pomona, 79-46, matching its season low for points allowed and extending its win streak to 19. The Pioneers are also one of just two remaining undefeated teams in Division II along with top-ranked Washburn.
Pioneers Ranked No. 3 as One of Two Unbeatens Remaining in Division II
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The win count rises, and so does the national ranking for Cal State East Bay men's basketball. At 18-0 overall, the Pioneers are one of only two remaining unbeaten men's basketball teams in NCAA Division II this season. The Pioneers jumped upo two spots from No. 5 last week.
