The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has named head coach Bryan Rooney as the nation's top Division II Men's Basketball Coach from the nearly 300 programs across the nation. Rooney is the first winner of the National Coach of the Year from the West Region since 2012.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Cal State East Bay men's basketball standout Tyree Campbell has been named to the 2025-26 NABC Division II All-America Team, as selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Pioneers, by definition, are the first to explore a new area, and the 2025-2026 men's basketball team has lived up to its name. Cal State East Bay enters the uncharted territory of the Elite Eight for the first time in school history.
